Joao Netto

João loves long distances and challenges, completing the North Pole Marathon and Antarctic Ice Marathon in 2017. In 2018 he completed the World Marathon Majors with a finish at the Boston Marathon. To date, Joao has completed 21 Marathons on 5 Continents plus the North Pole. On February 6th he hopes to complete the World Marathon Challenge and become a member of the Intercontinental Marathon Club, the Grand Slam Club. After that, he will run the Everest Marathon in May 2019. For the WMC, Joao is fund-raising to promote awareness of and raise funds for a campaign that helps children with cancer treatment. Joao works at a telecommunications company and started running seven years ago.
