Dawei Bian

Dawei, from Beijing, began running in 2014 and has since transformed his health, losing 20 kilograms and embracing a disciplined, active lifestyle. He has completed over 120 marathons and 15 triathlons, including his first IRONMAN 226 in Gurye, Korea, in 2023. His personal best marathon time is 3:31, achieved at the 2019 Seoul Marathon. Notable achievements include completing the Virtual World Marathon Challenge (777) in 2020, finishing two rounds of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, and running his 100th marathon at the Forbidden City Marathon in 2022. In 2024, he successfully completed the summer North Pole Marathon. Dawei is a founding member of the China Exploration Association’s 100 Marathons Club and has inspired nearly a thousand people to start running through his advocacy for scientific training and a positive lifestyle. He has also supported various sports and health projects. Looking ahead, Dawei aims to tackle the Gobi Desert Challenge, the World Marathon Challenge (7 Marathons 7 Continents 7 Days), and the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona. His running journey continues to take him around the world, where he embraces new challenges and connects with fellow enthusiasts.
