Chris is a 45-year-old endurance athlete based in San Francisco, CA, and Park City, UT. Since beginning his endurance racing journey in 2012, he has completed over 17 marathons, Ironman triathlons, and ultramarathons. As a proud member of the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation team, Chris combines his love for running with a mission to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Outside of running, Chris is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who founded a startup accelerator that nurtured numerous digital health startups later acquired by Fortune 500 companies. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA from UC San Diego. Chris’s passion for adventure led him to the World Marathon Challenge, fulfilling a life goal of visiting all 7 continents. He credits his incredible wife and two children for inspiring and supporting this journey.
